COLUMBUS, MS – The Mississippi Presenters Network (MSPN) invites artists and arts presenters from across the Golden Triangle area to a special convening at the Columbus Arts Council on Thursday, April 3rd, at 4:00 PM. This gathering is an opportunity for the arts community to connect, learn about funding opportunities, and explore ways to collaborate and expand artistic programming throughout Mississippi.
Led by Carrie White, MSPN Project Director, and Wayne Andrews, Arts Council Director, the convening will cover topics such as funding resources, artist exchanges, the Present Mississippi Awards, and podcast opportunities. Following the workshop, attendees are invited to stay for the Columbus Arts Council Art Gallery Reception from 5:30-7:00 PM, featuring artists Joe Wrenn and Undra Dre Williams.
MSPN is dedicated to strengthening Mississippi’s arts ecosystem by supporting presenters, artists, and organizations in their efforts to bring impactful cultural programming to communities across the state. As a statewide organization, MSPN fosters collaboration by listening to the needs of local arts organizations and working to ensure that Mississippi’s artistic community has the resources and support needed to thrive.
Art is not just a cultural asset; it plays a crucial role in local economies, driving tourism, business engagement, and community development. By working together, artists and arts organizations can amplify their impact, sustain creative industries, and contribute to a more vibrant and prosperous Mississippi. MSPN is committed to being a bridge between artists, presenters, and funders, helping to create opportunities that benefit the entire state.
