Her grandchildren—Cooper Eugene Luke, William Winstead Luke (Bella), Maria Elizabeth Luke, Wade Hogan Luke, and George Porter Luke—were often the joys of her heart. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles, Lori, and Alan, along with her brother-in-law Frank and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charles Vernon Chester and Betty Jo Chester, as well as her in-laws, Hermon Eugene Luke and Mabel Culberson Luke.
