Logar’s decision adds to a growing list of transfers aimed at revitalizing the Bulldogs’ competitive edge for the upcoming 2026 season.

In the 2025 season, Logar showcased impressive stats with a record of 4-5 over 74 innings pitched, accumulating a 3.53 earned run average (ERA) alongside 72 strikeouts and 41 walks. He successfully limited opponents to a batting average of .254, indicative of his skill on the mound. One of his most notable performances came when he led James Madison to an unexpected victory over then-No. 20 Troy, where he surrendered only two hits and struck out nine batters. Additionally, during the Sun Belt Conference tournament in 2025, Logar recorded a personal best of 12 strikeouts in a game against Georgia Southern.

Logar is the third pitcher that Mississippi State has secured from the transfer portal, joining fellow newcomers Tomas Valincius and Maddox Webb. His transfer comes as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the pitching lineup, which has seen a number of players enter the portal, indicating significant roster changes taking place within the program.
