STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State baseball fans now have every date for the 2027 season, after the program filled in its full nonconference calendar Thursday and confirmed that Stony Brook visits Starkville to open the year at Dudy Noble Field on Feb. 19.

The Bulldogs are scheduled for 35 home games in the regular season, and the first nine all come at home. After the Stony Brook series, the homestand brings in South Alabama on Feb. 23, Jackson State on Feb. 24, a Saint Joseph’s weekend set and Troy on March 2.

The team then leaves town for five games in a row. That run starts March 5-7 in Arlington, Texas, where the major league ballpark hosts the Amegy Bank event and the Bulldogs meet Dallas Baptist, UCLA and Wake Forest. A trip to Southern Miss on March 9 and a Biloxi date with West Florida follow.

Conference play starts at home with Missouri on March 19-21. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Arkansas also visit Starkville for SEC weekends, while road series include Georgia, Florida, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and LSU. The yearly Governor’s Cup game against Ole Miss is set for April 27 at Trustmark Park in Pearl, and the club visits Memphis on May 4.

The ballpark drew a national-record crowd average of 11,686 per game in 2026. Home tickets are on sale now through the university ticket office, while seats for the Biloxi and Pearl games will be released later.

For Starkville, the long opening homestand means steady February and March weekends of visiting fans in town, a boost for hotels, restaurants and shops near campus. The SEC portion of the calendar had already been released a month earlier, so Thursday’s update mainly filled the midweek and nonconference gaps, including home dates with Northwestern State, Samford, New Orleans, Southern Miss and West Florida later in the spring. The regular season wraps up at home with the Arkansas series May 20-22.
